Fortune Green is looked after by volunteers, and we'd love for you to join us. Members receive regular updates on green space improvements, early notice for local festivals, and the satisfaction of preserving a vital community asset for future generations.

Love Our Green Sundays : Join our regular gardening sessions to keep the Green looking its best: litter picking, weeding, planting, pruning, transplanting, wildflower seeding and tidying the flower beds. No gardening experience needed.

Website upkeep (help needed now): Keep our Wix website up to date with news, events and photos.Â

Digital organiser (help needed now): Manage our shared inbox and keep our Google Drive and Google Docs tidy and easy to find. Ideal for someone organised who enjoys bringing order to files and emails.

Social media: Share events, photos and park news on Instagram and X.

Membership: Welcome new members and support our membership drive.

Sponsorship: Approach local businesses for sponsorship or donations.
On event days

Event stewarding: Welcome visitors, help people find a spot, and keep things running smoothly at any of our events.

A July 2026 survey carried out by Camden Council found that litter is the most pressing problem facing Fortune Green today. Fortune Green is looked after by volunteers.
